Dirty Heads 2021 Tour Announcement – High and Mighty Tour Schedule
Dirty Heads is heading on the High and Mighty Tour this August, bringing along Sublime with Rome to create the ultimate ska and punk rock experience. The tour begins on August 26th in Bend, OR, and continues for almost two months before wrapping up in Paso Robles, CA, on October 15th.
Dirty Heads and Sublime with Rome go way back, with a shared hometown of Southern California and appreciation for the ska, punk, and alt-rock era of the 2000s. While there will surely be many millennials on the High and Mighty tour who listened to Dirty Heads in high school, they’ve also gained a bit of momentum with the Gen Z crowd.
The group’s 2017 song “Vacation” went viral on TikTok in 2021 as more people started participating in the “vacation challenge.” And while the song is nice to hear as you switch your background to palm trees and ocean breeze on the popular app, it sounds even better in the crowd at a Dirty Heads concert.
You’ll hear “Vacation” and more on the High and Mighty tour, as Dirty Heads have released eight successful albums since forming in Huntington Beach, CA, all the way back in 2006.
Their Orange County roots have always been evident, with album names like California Island and Swim Team. Still, the group is looking forward to sharing their epic ska songs in many different cities this summer.
The laid-back lyrics and stage presence of Dirty Heads are a welcome change after a stressful year like 2020, and High and Mighty is the perfect tour to dip your toes (ocean pun intended) back into live music in 2021.
