And it’s going to be a night of major emotions, incredible vocals, and intense ragers as Lovato returns to their rock roots. This Demi Lovato tour begins August 13th in Springfield, IL, and visits cities like Portland, OR, Los Angeles, CA, Nashville, TV, and more before the final show on November 6th in Irving, TX.
“I’m so excited to get back on the road after four years without touring, and even longer since I’ve toured in South America,” Lovato said in a statement. “We’re working so hard to deliver an incredible show for all my fans and I can’t wait to see them in person to celebrate this new music.” It’s a new chapter for Lovato in more ways than one. The former teen idol and pop star has hinted that their upcoming eighth album, Holy Fvck, will be a step away from their previous sound and more in the realm of the hard rock. In fact, they did more than just imply it by holding a “funeral” for their pop music in January 2022.
Lovato is no stranger to the world of rock, having collaborated with All Time Low, We the Kings, and more emo icons that you can see this fall at the When We Were Young Festival. However, you may know them more by their previous eras. These include a few years as a Disney Channel darling, a transition into certified pop star territory with 2015’s Confident, and a step away from the spotlight after battles with addiction.
