Coheed and Cambria 2023 Tour Announcement – Neverender: No World For A Waking Mind Tour Schedule

Coheed and Cambria are plotting the “Neverender: No World For A Waking Mind tour” for spring and summer 2023! Joined by Deafheaven, the progressive rock band will begin on April 28th in Norfolk, VA, and continue through October 7th in Los Angeles, CA. 

This Coheed and Cambria tour is named for two of their greatest albums — their tenth and latest, 2022’s Vaxis – Act II: A Window of the Waking Mind, plus their 2007 favorite, Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV, Volume Two: No World for Tomorrow. They’ve promised to play the latter in its entirety plus a “strong mix” from the former on this Coheed and Cambria tour, taking attendees into two different words and points in time for the band. Are you most excited to hear songs like “The Running Free” and “Feathers” from the early 2000s or modern essentials like “Shoulders” and “The Liars Club”? Both records strongly focus on science fiction, which has been a focal point for Coheed and Cambria since their formation in New York in the mid-1990s. It’s a series of comic books and novels created by frontman Claudio Sanchez, which connects back to all Coheed and Cambria albums. 

Each record tells a chapter of the saga guided by the band’s emotional lyrics and trademark prog-rock riffs, and Vaxis – Act II: A Window of the Waking Mind is no exception. Fans and critics gave the record rave reviews, with The Guardian giving it four stars and applauding their “most concise and infectious songwriting.” Meanwhile, Kerrang! called the album a “cinematic journey with more jolts, twists, and sudden transitions,” and it’s hardly an exaggeration. In fact, that sentiment practically sums up Coheed and Cambria’s nearly three-decade career, which has established them as one of the best progressive rock bands in the world.
