Carly Pearce 2023 Tour Announcement – Country Made Me Do It Tour Schedule
Carly Pearce is coming your way! The singer has announced the “Country Made Me Do It Tour” for the fall of 2023. She’ll begin on October 5th in New York, NY, stopping in cities like Silver Spring, MD, Myrtle Beach, SC, and Los Angeles, CA. The final show will take place on November 18th in Detroit, MI.
“It’s been a crazy couple of years since I released 29 into the world, and I’m ready to begin this next chapter with you,” Pearce wrote on Instagram. “I’m SO excited to bring the “Country Music Made Me Do It” Tour to life this fall, to celebrate the true beginning of a turned page in my life, both musically and personally. My friends at @conundrumwines are coming along for the ride & I have soooo many fun surprises up my sleeve.”
While Pearce’s last album, 2021’s 29: Written in Stone, detailed her whirlwind rise to fame and woes of the age it’s named for, she now has even more knowledge in her personal and professional arsenal. She turned 33 this year, after all, and is ready to leave “29” behind and enter a new era of country. Sure, she’ll still perform singles like “Next Girl,” “What He Didn’t Do,” and “Never Wanted to Be That Girl” (a Grammy-winning collab with her bestie, Ashley McBryde!) at upcoming shows. But she’s also penned some new personal anthems.
In particular, we’re talking about the catchy new single called “Country Made Me Do It!” Described as “an upbeat, cheeky love letter to the genre” that “chronicles Pearce’s long standing relationship to country music and the impact it has had on her life,” this track is deeply personal. She sings about “leaving everything she’s ever known behind” to make it big in Nashville, along with thinking about cheating, blaming her dad, getting drunk… you name it. How country is that?
It’s been a bittersweet journey for Pearce, without a doubt, but she wouldn’t take any of it back. And she can’t wait to sing “Country Made Me Do It” loud and proud at her upcoming concerts! While there’s been no word yet on whether she’ll release more new music, we wouldn’t put it past her. Pearce is always cooking up something big in the country world, which has earned her endless accolades including four ACM Awards, one Grammy, and a well-deserved spot in the Grand Ole Opry.
She’ll undoubtedly add more achievements to this list as she begins a new Carly Pearce tour and the next chapter of her career, and we hope you’ll be a part of it! Get your tickets now for the Country Made Me Do It tour.
