Bonnie Raitt 2022 Tour Announcement – Just Like That… Tour Schedule
Bonnie Raitt is soon heading on the Just Like That… tour, which takes the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee to dozens of US cities. This Bonnie Raitt tour kicks off on May 20th in Tulsa, OK, and visits New York, NY, Cincinnati, OH, Atlanta, GA, and many other spots before wrapping up on November 4th in Sugar Land, TX.
Raitt is celebrating the release of her eighteenth album, Just Like That…, which also happens to be her first record in six years. It’s a bittersweet byproduct of the global pandemic that kept us in our homes, as Raitt was forced to halt her tour with fellow crooner James Taylor and used the time off to craft her next great masterpiece. The result? A gorgeous Americana album that puts Raitt’s unique voice on display, reminding listeners why she’s been a rock and roll legend for half a century.
The new songs are distinctive and draw inspiration from Raitt’s transformative artistry over the decades. “Living For The Ones” is an anthem that pays tribute to friends she’s lost, “Made Up My Mind” is a soulful and upbeat treat, and “Waitin’ For You to Blow” is a personal tale of Raitt’s past struggles with addiction. This only scratches the surface of this deeply personal and powerful album, and the 72-year-old singer can’t wait to share it on the Bonnie Raitt tour.
“What I missed the most was waking up in a different city and knowing I have to prove myself every night. I love traveling; I love visiting other cities,” Raitt told USA Today about her upcoming tour. “The sad thing about this tour is I can’t see family and friends along the way because I’m in a COVID bubble. But whatever it takes to stay safe. I’m just grateful this month is happening.”
We’re also grateful for this Bonnie Raitt tour! For decades, the singer has impressed crowds with her bluesy and folk-rock beats, and she shows no signs of slowing down at age 72. Get your tickets to the Just Like That… tour today in the following cities!
