Blink 182 2023 Tour Announcement – Reunion Tour Schedule

Blink 182 is back from the dead, and all three original members are touring in 2023! Catch the OG pop-punk heroes will kick off on May 4th in St. Paul, MN, with stops in Detroit, MI, New York, NY, Boston, MA, and more before concluding on July 16th in Nashville, TN.

All three original members of Blink 182 — Travis Barker, Tom Delonge, and Mark Hoppus — are middle-aged dads now, but that didn’t stop them from announcing their reunion in the most juvenile way. It certainly serves nostalgic vibes from one of their most famous late-1990s hits, “What’s My Age Again?” They released a cheeky Instagram video with the simple caption, “We’re coming. Tour’s coming. Album’s coming. Tom’s coming.” At the same time, the Internet, including even the most A-list artists and celebrities, went wild. Why is it such a big deal that Blink 182 is back together? We don’t even know where to begin.

It’s been seven years since Tom Delonge played alongside his bandmates, let alone recorded music with them. Therefore, it’s safe to say that fans are freaking out over their comeback single, “Edging,” plus their onstage reunion after a rocky history. There have been many hiatuses and side projects since Blink 182 emerged out of Poway, CA, in the early 1990s, and it’s no secret that the guys weren’t always on good terms. 

Barker and Hoppus teamed up for side groups like Box Car Racer and +44 in the mid-2000s, while Tom Delonge continues to perform with his band, Angels and Airwaves. In the last year, Barker married Kourtney Kardashian after a very public romance, while Hoppus valiantly beat cancer and subsequently returned to the recording studio. As much as they’ve been through, the three men always seem to find their way back to each other eventually… and it’s the most beautiful thing ever. 

There’s no denying the legacy of Blink 182. They spearheaded the second wave of pop-punk ad brought the genre into mainstream music with songs like “All the Small Things,” “The Rock Show,” and “Dammit,” serving as godfathers of sorts to a new generation of pop-punk. Do names like All Time Low, Panic! At the Disco, Good Charlotte, and You Me at Six ring a bell? They were all heavily inspired by Blink 182, and that’s just the beginning of their iconic music history.
