Baby Keem 2021 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
There’s still time to see a Baby Keem concert before the end of the year! You can see the up-and-coming rapper beginning November 23rd in Philadelphia, PA, with shows until December 3rd in San Francisco, CA.
Baby Keem, born Hykeem Jamaal Carter Jr., is barely 21 years old but has already worked with some of the biggest rappers in the world. You may have heard him on Kanye West’s song “Praise God” or singing alongside Kendrick Lamar on the track “Family Ties.” It’s a fitting title for this song, as Lamar also happens to be the cousin of Baby Keem!
That’s right, Jamaal Carter Jr. is related to one of the world’s most prominent hip-hop artists with multiple Grammy’s, Billboard Music Awards, and even a Pulitzer Prize under his belt. Is it any surprise that Baby Keem is one of the most talented rising stars in the rap world? Of course, he’s also dedicated to creating his own sound that’s inspired by but never copies his idols.
His young age has produced more modern inspirations – including Lamar, Kid Cudi, Travis Scott, and Kanye West. These influences are prevalent on Baby Keem’s debut studio album, The Melodic Blue, released in September 2021 by Columbia Records. It features hit singles like the aforementioned “Family Ties” and “Durag Activity” featuring Travis Scott, with these tracks telling Keem’s story as a modern rapper in a crowded music scene.
Baby Keem is joining a new wave of Gen Z rappers but quickly proving that he can stand out from the crowd. NME praised The Melodic Blue in their album review, mentioning how quickly Jamaal Carter Jr. can switch up his lyrical content and vibes with each song.
“One minute on ‘The Melodic Blue,’ Keem will be serving up breezy club bangers like ‘pink panties,’ referencing Only Fans, or delivering silly one-liners,” said NME. “The next, he’ll be in full boast mode, like on ‘vent,’ or when he’s proclaiming with swagger on ‘booman’: I’m sexy and blessed.’”
This album is just chapter one of Baby Keem’s long musical journey, so it makes sense that his lyrical vibes can vary! He’s one of the biggest rising stars of the rap game, and you don’t want to miss your chance to see a Baby Keem concert! Check the tour schedule below and get your tickets now.
