Amos Lee is embarking on the latest leg of his “Dreamland tour” in late summer 2022, supporting his eighth album of the same name. You can catch the folk-rock singer beginning August 4th in Bend, OR, with performances continuing through September 16th in Annapolis, MD.
He’s already made plenty of notable stops since releasing Dreamland in February 2022, but the upcoming leg of this Amos Lee tour will be even more exciting. He’s paying a visit to the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO, where his blues-inspired tracks will only be amplified in the striking outdoor stadium. He’ll also perform in cities like Iowa City, IA, Ann Arbor, MI, Cincinnati, OH, and more stages that he hasn’t graced since before the pandemic.
Dreamland marks his first album in four years, and he’s baring his soul on these songs. NPR Illinois states that the record “takes the listener on a rich and emotional journey holding up a mirror to Amos’s lifelong battles with isolation, fear, and anxiety,” which many can relate to. Despite his status as a blues hero compared to the likes of Norah Jones and John Prine, he’s had to conquer tons of obstacles to reach his current level of content. And songs like “Worry No More,” “Hold You,” “It’s Real,” and the titular track will remind you that you’re never alone.
The darker lyrics are accompanied by Lee’s trademark “folksy, bluesy” acoustics that will always uplift you.
