Alice Cooper is heading on the “Too Close For Comfort tour” in spring 2023, with the shock rocker visiting 11 cities! He’ll kick off on May 29th in Youngstown, OH, making stops in Bemidji, MN, Louisville, KY, North Charleston, SC, and more before concluding on May 18th in Biloxi, MS.
There will be plenty of Alice Cooper concerts coming up in 2023, as the veteran rock star is already joining Def Leppard and Motley Crue on the latest leg of their Stadium tour. He’s also stopping at the Welcome to Rockville festival in Daytona Beach, FL, this May! But there’s no better place to see him than on a headlining Alice Cooper tour, where he’ll play nearly six decades’ worth of hits that blend glam metal, hard rock, and even new wave. These songs date all the way back to his first solo album, 1975’s Welcome to My Nightmare, and up to his 21st and latest record, 2021’s Detroit Stories.
You likely know a few of his greatest hits, like “Poison,” “School’s Out,” and “Feed My Frankenstein,” but how about “Luney Tune” and “Black Juju?” These underrated tracks have been lurking in Cooper’s catalog for many years, and they may just come out to play on the Too Close For Comfort tour. As his nickname, “The Godfather of Shock Rock,” suggests, the almost 75-year-old artist isn’t afraid to blow your mind with a few surprise guest stars or hidden songs that he hasn’t performed in years, and we can’t wait to see what he has in store for 2023.

He earned rave reviews for Detroit Stories a couple of years back, and isn’t ready to step out of the studio or away from the stage just yet. “I’m working on two albums right now. One is… totally written, and we’ll be doing bed tracks for that one pretty soon,” he told Metal Injection in early 2022. “The other one is just a touch in the future, but that’s being written right now too … They’re two entirely different kinds of albums, but they’re Alice Cooper, pure rock n’ roll albums. The two albums will really be hard rock albums.”
