Alabama Shakes 2025 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
Alabama Shakes is back, baby! After nearly a decade of silence, the Southern rock band is set to return to the set this summer. They’ll begin on July 16th in Chicago, IL, stopping in Nashville, TN, Bonner, MT, Houston, TX, and more before concluding on September 27th in Irving, TX.
It’s been 8 years since the last Alabama Shakes tour, and a full decade since their second and latest album, 2015’s Sound & Color. And while fans have loved watching singer Brittany Howard create an incredible solo career for herself, they’ve also ached for the days of bluesy Alabama Shakes songs like “Always Alright,” “Future People,” and “Gimme All Your Love.” The days of waiting are finally over, and it’s going to be a psychedelic, surreal run for all those lucky enough to witness it.
“Last year, Heath, Zac, and I started chatting about how much fun it would be to make music together and tour again as Alabama Shakes,” Howard said in a statement. “This band and these songs have been such a source of joy for all of us.” The feeling is mutual for their longtime fans! This isn’t just a one-and-done deal, either, as she made it clear that Alabama Shakes is here to stay in 2025.
“We didn’t want this to entirely be a look back,” she continued. “We wanted it to be as much about the future as the past. So we have a bunch of new music that will be released soon. We just can’t wait to experience that ‘feeling’ when we start playing those first few notes of ‘Don’t Wanna Fight’ or ‘Gimme All Your Love.’” They haven’t set a date for their next album, but we know it’s destined to be the real deal for Southern blues lovers. That’s Alabama Shakes, for you!
If their earlier shows were church, 2025 feels more like revival. Expect fuzzed-out blues, psych-tinged soul, and moments of quiet vulnerability that hit as hard as any crescendo. It’s music for people who want to feel something. Who need to. An Alabama Shakes concert consists of vibrant singalongs alongside Howard’s raspy voice, backed up by Zac Cockrell’s insane bass lines and Heath Fogg’s stellar guitar work that simply belongs in the South.
And while the time away has been rough, this trio is coming back swinging in 2025…a time when all of us need to feel more alive. This will be a colorful celebration of their past, present, and future, and you can’t miss out on this Alabama Shakes tour. Get your tickets now!
