Elvis Costello & The Imposters 2023 Tour Announcement – We’re All Going On A Summer Holiday Tour Schedule
Ready for a heat wave this summer? How about a hint of new wave? Elvis Costello & The Imposters are hitting the road on the “We’re All Going On A Summer Holiday Tour.” And it will be a phenomenal trek for the world-famous musician. Joined by Nick Lowe and Los Straitjackets, he’ll kick off performances on June 7th in Vancouver, BC, continuing through July 14th in Philadelphia, PA.
If you’re getting a bit of deja vu, it’s not just you! Only last year, Costello embarked on a summer trek with Lowe and Los Straitjackets, which sold out dozens of US cities. They had such a blast that they just had to do it again, and it’s a quintessential time to see Elvis Costello and his crew! The 68-year-old artist continues to support his 32nd album, 2022’s The Boy Named If. Plus, the more recent deluxe edition of The Songs of Bacharach & Costello, which pays tribute to his late friend.
The latter is his collaborative album with singer-composer Burt Bacharach, who passed away in February 2023. Costello is honoring his memory with songs like “Baby It’s You,” “My Thief,” and “Don’t Look Now,” which we’re sure he’ll play on the summer tour! Also on the setlist will be Costello’s miles-long list of hit singles with the Imposters. How excited are you to hear “She,” “Watching the Detectives,” “Chelsea,” “No Flag,” and many more?
