The Avett Brothers 2021-2022 Tour Announcement – North American Tour Schedule
The Avett Brothers are bringing their bluegrass and folk-rock hits across the country, announcing a series of headlining shows and music festival appearances that fans won’t want to miss. Beginning with the July 10th show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO, the Avett Brothers have shows planned all the way through July 2022!
The Avett Brothers, named for Seth and Scott Avett, are born performers – and that’s why even a global pandemic couldn’t stop them from playing their folk-rock hits for fans. Throughout 2020, the band played virtual concerts for radio shows such as CBS This Morning and World Cafe.
They even hosted a virtual New Year’s Eve celebration with special guests Jimmie Johnson, Nicole Atkins, and Jessica Lea Mayfield! As soon as it was safe to do so, The Avett Brothers began planning their return to the real stage and sold-out concert crowds.
The result? A handful of sold-out, summer 2021 concerts under their belt before most artists even announced their touring plans. It’s this passion for performing that fans love about The Avett Brothers, and why they can’t wait to hear the bluegrass and folk-rock hits in the flesh once again.
You may know the hits we’re talking about from the Avett Brothers’ ten studio albums. They encompass a one-of-a-kind sound that combines bluegrass, folk-rock, honky-tonk, indie rock, pop, and even a bit of ragtime for the type of concert that’s rarely seen in 2021.
How unique is The Avett Brothers, exactly? San Francisco Chronicle once described them as having the “heavy sadness of Townes Van Zandt, the light pop concision of Buddy Holly, the tuneful jangle of the Beatles, and the raw energy of the Ramones.” You can’t make that up, and it’s something you need to see on the upcoming The Avett Brothers tour.
