Chelsea Handler is continuing her Vaccinated and Horny tour in 2022, and the cheeky name is just the beginning of what you can expect from the iconic comedian. You can next see her on February 2nd in Seattle, WA, with stops across the country before she wraps up on October 22nd in Las Vegas, NV.
Anybody who has watched Chelsea Lately, or simply watched her comedic career unfold over the past two decades, knows that Chelsea Handler can joke about anything. She’s known for making even the most taboo subjects a laughing matter, and the pandemic is no exception. That’s why she’s taking her show on the road to reunite comedy fans across the country, helping them become “Vaccinated and Horny” just like her.
“You kind of feel as a comedian that it’s your responsibility to go bring joy and laughter and all that good stuff to people who have also been stuck at home for the last year a half, Handler told E! Online about why she was anxious to tour once again. “I think most comedians wanted to get out there as soon as possible and just start performing.”
With tours from Gabriel Iglesias, Bert Kreischer, Taylor Tomlinson, and the massive Netflix is A Joke Festival happening soon in Los Angeles, we have to agree with her! The laughs just keep coming with all these comedy tours, but Handler’s is something special.
Since 2001, she’s done everything from hosting her own talk show to reaching millions of viewers on Netflix to rub elbows with the biggest Hollywood A-listers, and she wasn’t about to let a pandemic rain on her comedic parade. In fact, she had a few standout moments in quarantine. She was provided with tons of funny material, which you’ll hear on the Vaccinated and Horny tour, and even began dating fellow comedian Jo Koy in 2021 after a decade of friendship. Will he be in the audience on her 2022 tour, and vice versa? We’ll have to see!
“It’s basically taking the piss out of everything else, the ridiculousness and what happened to all of us during COVID and how we acted,” Handler also said about her upcoming performances. “It’s very original Chelsea from like my stand-up from the early days, just going off about my opinions and really handing it to people. You know, that’s what comedians are for, strong points of view.”
