Marina 2022 Tour Announcement – Ancient Dreams in a Modern Land Tour Schedule
Marina will soon embark on her Ancient Dreams in a Modern Land tour, and we can’t wait to see the Welsh songstress. She’ll begin performances on February 2nd in San Francisco, CA, with stops in Atlanta, GA, Nashville, TN, New York, NY, and more through March 9th in Los Angeles.
This Marina tour was announced in December 2021, and tickets are going fast! Fans are lining up to hear her unique blend of indie and electro-pop, which is only amplified on her fifth record that the Marina tour has been named after. New songs like “Man’s World,” “Venus Fly Trap,” and the titular track are undoubtedly feminist anthems, while the rest of the album speaks of the world’s injustices.
“Pink Convertible” speaks about climate change and how we tend to turn a blind eye to our burning planet. Meanwhile, Marina has also said that her lyrics were inspired by the Salem witch trials and today’s unfair treatment of the LGBTQ community. She’s always been outspoken and empowered and has mastered the ability to fit serious themes over even the most dance-worthy beats. She’s here to make a difference in 2022, and it starts with her latest album and tour.
Marina got her start alongside other powerful female pop stars, notably touring alongside Katy Perry in 2011 and often being compared to the likes of Regina Spektor, Karen O, and even Britney Spears. Now, she’s returning the favor. The Ancient Dreams in a Modern Land tour is supported by the strong females in Pussy Riot and Tove Stryke, along with the girls in the crowd who will surely be singing along to all these feminist-approved tracks.
