Yes 2023 Tour Announcement – Classic Tales of Yes Tour Schedule
Yes is taking their show on the road with the “Classic Tales of Yes Tour!” The progressive rock heroes will play five decades’ worth of tracks from their iconic career. They’ll begin on September 21st in Bethlehem, PA, continuing through November 4th in Riverside, CA.
“We’re putting together a great setlist covering the length and breadth of Yes’ career,” says guitarist Steve Howe. Additionally, keyboard player Geoff Downes ensures the innovative show you’ve come to expect from Yes. “As always, we are committed to pushing new boundaries and are very excited to be performing another chapter in the rich legacy of the band,” he says. With a brand new album and dozens of stellar tracks destined for the setlist, we have no doubt that these Yes concerts will deliver!
The band released their 23rd album, Mirror to the Sky, last May, which features new singles like “Cut From The Stars” and “All Connected.” Described as everything from a “remarkable piece of nostalgia” by Riff Magazine to “muscular” and “even better” than 2021’s The Quest by Ultimate Classic Rock, few could deny that this was a return to Yes’ prime. Not that they ever left!
Okay, they did take a bit of a breather after their 2014 record, Heaven & Earth, which led to a well-deserved but bittersweet seven-year hiatus. But the best Yes songs, like “Owner of a Lonely Heart,” “Close to the Edge,” and “Hold On,” have stood the test of time! They’ll all be on the setlist on the upcoming Yes tour, plus some new essentials, to remind you why they’ll forever be one of the most beloved progressive rock bands around.
From their intricate melodies and philosophical lyrics to the harmony with not just the music, but also the band members, Yes is the real deal. We thought they’d impressed us last year with their sold-out comeback tour, but this trek seems to be even more experimental and unreal. Every night will feature a gallery with exclusive artwork from artist Roger Dean, whose landscapes have graced dozens of classic album covers, including Mirror To The Sky.
That means that guests at the Yes tour will get a treat for all the senses — eyes, ears, touch, and everything in between. Are you ready to party with these progressive rock icons? Get your Yes tickets today.
