Where to See Enter Shikari in 2023

Enter Shikari has a handful of concerts coming up in 2023, supporting their seventh album, A Kiss for the Whole World. The British rock band will begin on April 30th in Anaheim, CA, making stops in Los Angeles, CA, Chicago, IL, and New York, NY, before concluding on September 23rd in Birmingham, AL.

The band is just wrapping up their intimate residencies in five UK cities, giving fans a taste of the deeply personal and powerful record that’s to come. As for US fans, they’re on deck and ready to dance! Enter Shikari has already debuted a few new tracks from their latest release, including “(pls) set me on Fire,” “It Hurts,” and the titular track, and people like what they hear. Hardly any other group is able to combine alternative rock with electronic elements as effortlessly as Enter Shikari. And they’re ready to enter a new era of epic riffs and infectious beats with their latest record.

It’s been three years and a full-blown global pandemic since Rou Reynolds and Co. came out with their last album, 2020’s Nothing Is True & Everything Is Possible. Since it was released just a month into quarantine, they had to wait over a year to perform songs like “The Dreamer’s Hotel” and “Satellites” in front of a crowd for the first time. Needless to say, it impacted them in a not-so-great way. Reynolds was open about how he temporarily lost his urge to write music before it came back in full force. And the result was A Kiss for the Whole World, which is arguably one of Enter Shikari’s most explosive and unique albums since their 1999 formation.

“There was a real sense of urgency. There was never a point where we sat down and really discussed what the album was going to be about, and there was no sense of organisation,” Enter Shikari frontman Rou Reynolds told NME. “It was just manic.” He calls the new album “as varied as ever, saying that “Maybe it’s more intense than anything we’ve done before.” “Hopefully, people can hear the exasperation and the jubilation. I think what makes it better is that it was all just natural. It’s not finessed, it’s quite raw.”

Enter Shikari is currently having the time of their lives playing these “raw and jubilant” songs, along with older hits like “Juggernauts,” “Slipshod,” and “Anything Can Happen in the Next Half Hour….” Don’t forget to grab your tickets before they come to the US!
