The Southern rock icon is gathering all his famous friends for this seasonal celebration — including Phil Lesh & Friends, Tyler Childers, Gov’t Mule, Brothers Osborne, and more! Get ready for a night of blues, rock, and country on December 10th in Asheville, NC.
While this holiday concert has been going on for over three decades, with Haynes’ very first show, dubbed “The Christmas Jam: Musician’s X-Mas Reunion,” taking place in 1988, it’s now been nearly half a decade since Haynes hit the stage for a December celebration. The 2019 celebration was halted due to scheduling difficulties, while the 2020 and 2021 cancellations speak for themselves. Ugh. Fans who have attended the show since the 80s were definitely disappointed, but we know they won’t be disappointed in the 2022 Christmas Jam! Past headliners have included The Allman Brothers Band, Ray LaMontagne, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Sheryl Crow, and more… but we know that this year will be bigger and better than ever before.
Some may say that the Warren Haynes Christmas Jam falls under the country or Americana genre, but if you ask us, it’s just good old-fashioned Southern rock.
