Walker Hayes 2022 Tour Announcement – Glad You’re Here Tour Schedule
Walker Hayes is ready to embark on the Glad You’re Here tour in fall 2022, with 15 dates across the US. The country star will kick off September 29th in Johnstown, PA, and perform through November 12th in Everett, WA.
“Can’t frickin believe it. It’s mind-blowing how our team is growing, how the crowds are growing, and how the music continues to connect with my audience. I’m just so grateful,” Hayes wrote on Instagram. And it’s not an exaggeration. After selling out venues across the country on his spring 2022 trek, the Alabama-born Hayes is taking the summer off before returning for his first headlining arena tour. In January, he released his third record, Country Stuff the Album, and has been looking forward to playing these new songs to even bigger crowds.
New singles include “Fancy Like,” “U Gurl,” and “AA,” and people like what they hear from the country-pop star. “Fancy Like” became Hayes’s first No.1 hit on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart and scored a Grammy nomination for “Best Country Song.” It even went viral on TikTok courtesy of Hayes’s video with his daughter, which was a surprise for the 42-year-old singer. Applebee’s even noticed, as the song is dedicated to late nights with good friends and oreo shakes at the chain restaurant.
As for the rest of the subject matter? Walker sings about his childhood growing up in Alabama and his love for his family, as Country Stuff the Album is a deeply personal record for the 42-year-old singer.
