TXT – Tomorrow X Together has announced one of the most monumental K-pop tours of 2024! The five-piece group will visit eight cities in total, beginning on May 14th in Tacoma, WA. They’ll continue through June 8th in Washington, DC.
Performing in major venues like the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, CA, and Madison Square Garden in New York City, Tomorrow X Together is in their prime. The young group’s music has always been centered around growing pains and the journey from blissfully unaware teenager to overwhelmed adult. And they’ve never resonated with the lyrics of hit songs like “Our Summer,” “Can’t You See Me?” “Cat & Dog” and “Good Boy Gone Bad” more than they do now.
Celebrating their fifth anniversary in 2024, Tomorrow X Together is coming off one of the most prominent years of their career. Their third album, The Name Chapter: Freefall, reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200 when it was released last October, a peak musical milestone for TXT. They also headlined Lollapalooza and won an MTV Video Music Award, among others, but who’s counting?
Now, they’re entering a new era with their sixth EP, minisode 3: TOMORROW, which came out on April 1st. The band — featuring members Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Choi Soo-bin, Huening Kai and Taehyun — has described the project as a nostalgic nod to the past and glimmer of hope for the future. And while it may seem contradictory at first, there’s no doubt that the relatable, 100% radiant universe of Tomorrow X Together can pull it off.
“This album is all about being reminded of the promises of the past and going on a search for ‘you’ who I shared a promise with,” Taehyun told USA TODAY. “It’s a crucial part that we cannot miss out on in order to make sure our stories more compelling and convincing.” Additionally, Hueningkai made a similar statement that highlights his personal and professional growth. “As we try and channel our honest, personal stories into the album,” he says. “I think it helps me realize more and more who I am as an artist.”
The members of Tomorrow X Together are now in their early 20s, and very different humans than they were as teenagers getting started in the K-Pop scene a half-decade ago. With each passing year and EP release, they’ve gotten more fearless with their artistry and, in return, gotten the accolades they deserve. They’ve now reached a turning point with some of their most raw and vulnerable songs yet, including the new single, “Deja Vu,” and can’t wait to share their journey with you.
