Trivium 2026 Tour Announcement – Crown in the Grave Tour Schedule
Trivium have announced the “Crown in the Grave Tour” heading to North America this fall, so you’d better prepare for some of the most intense pits you’ve ever seen. The Grammy-nominated heavyweights will kick off on November 5 at Jannus Live in St. Petersburg, FL, before hitting cities including Atlanta, Louisville, Grand Rapids, Silver Spring, New York, Philadelphia, Worcester, Toronto, Chicago, Nashville, Dallas, and more.
“This fall’s Trivium tour is a huge one for us,” Trivium said in a statement. “The lineup is stacked from top to bottom, and we’re honored to have special guests In Flames, who not only influenced our early years but continue to prove time and again why they’re one of the greatest metal bands of all time. The term “new music” perked up the gauged ears of nearly every metalhead who heard it, as it’s been a long five years since the last Trivium album. And while we still love 2021’s In the Court of the Dragon, it’s about time we have some heavy new hits to mosh along to. This is the band that gave metalcore fans Ascendancy, went bigger and more technical with Shogun, and kept honing their sound through records like The Sin and the Sentence and What the Dead Men Say….
So you know whatever they’ve been working on is going to hit us harder than ever. We’ve already gotten a taste with the three-song EP Struck Dead, released in late 2025, which many fans agreed channeled the aggression and emotional brutality of their Ascendancy era — an album that celebrated its 20th anniversary last year. This felt like a celebration of old-meets-new that came together in the most metal way possible. And while we’re not sure if a full-length album is on the horizon, the promise of new tracks will do for now.
Plus the older Trivium songs that we’ve headbanged along to for decades. Hits like “Pull Harder on the Strings of Your Martyr,” “In Waves,” “Until the World Goes Cold,” “The Heart From Your Hate,” and “Strife” have already earned their place in the modern metal live canon, while the promise of new music makes this tour feel even bigger. Trivium isn’t simply riding on nostalgia here — they’re showing us what’s next, now with Alex Rüdinger behind the kit and one of the heaviest support bills of the year backing them up.
Trivium’s legacy is, more or less, effortlessly breaking into every metal subgenre and making it their own. They came up during the metalcore explosion, but never sounded content to be just another band with breakdowns and big choruses. Over the years, they’ve built a fanbase that follows them through thrashier riffs, cleaner hooks, longer prog moments, and full-on pit fuel without needing the band to pick one identity forever.
