Travis Tritt 2023 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
Travis Tritt is coming to a city near you, with the country crooner making 17 stops across the US. He’ll kick off on March 30th in Troy, OH, making stops in Mt. Vernon, KY, Salamanca, NY, Augusta, GA, and more before finishing up on June 24th in Pikeville, KY.
Joined by War Hippies and his daughter Tyler Reese Tritt, this trek will be a family affair complete with all of Tritt’s greatest hits. We’re talking “Anymore,” “T-R-O-U-B-L-E,” “It’s A Great Day to Be Alive,” and newer tracks from his twelfth album, 2021’s Set in Stone! This project marked his first album in eight years, after 2013’s The Calm After…, and he’s wasted no time getting on the road after the pandemic to support his latest record. He’s embarked on multiple treks in the last year and a half, most recently serving as co-headliner on his joint trek with Chris Jansen.
Sadly, Tritt canceled a few dates on his tour with Jansen due to a knee injury. However, he’s ensured that he’ll be back on the road and better than ever in 2023, and we believe him. He’s been a powerful performer in the country music scene for nearly three decades, after all, and nothing can stop him from performing his honky tonk hits night after night. From 1990s classics that helped him become a meme (more on that in a bit) to the 2000s tracks that introduced a new generation to Travis Tritt, this headlining tour will be a memorable night for all.
Tritt has earned a new legion of younger fans in the last few years, courtesy of social media and his growing status as a meme. The cover of his 1998 album, No More Looking Over My Shoulder, features the country crooner grinning from ear to ear while wearing head-to-toe denim. This shot often accompanies quirky captions like “when you’ve got rice cooking in the microwave” or “when you finally get to see another country concert.”
There are worse things to be known for than your status as a meme, and Tritt embraces it with his newer millennial and Gen Z fans. “For some reason, it caught on later on. Later, after it was off the charts, it started catching on with many younger people,” Tritt explained to Taste of Country about his 2000 single, “It’s a Great Day to Be Alive.” “And there’s a lot of people today that are in their 20s, or teens, that basically relate to that song, and that’s the main song from me that they know. It’s weird how that works.”
This song will certainly be on the setlist on this Travis Tritt tour, plus other tracks that every generation can enjoy. Will you be there? Get your Travis Tritt tickets now for the following cities!
