Tool 2023 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
Tool is taking a break from their nonstop music festival schedule for a few months of headlining shows! The alternative metal icons will kick off on October 3rd in Loveland, CO, continuing through November 21st in Toronto, ON.

What rock music festivals have Tool on the lineup in 2023? Well, it would be easier to ask which ones don’t have Maynard James Keenan and Co. slated to take the stage. They’ve already headlined Sonic Temple and Welcome to Rockville and will soon hit up Power Trip, Louder Than Life, and Aftershock! When you’re a Grammy-winning metal group that sold over 15 million albums, you’re pretty much welcome at any music event you’d like. But luckily, they’re still making time for a few solo Tool concerts.

Tool still supports their fifth album, 2019’s Fear Inoculum, which marked their first in thirteen years! And fans and critics were all kinds of impressed with new songs like “Pneuma” and the titular track. Consequence of Sound stated that the record “lives up to its daunting expectations with songs that showcase Tool in peak performance as musicians and compositional arrangers.” The publication also praised Keenan’s emotional and haunting vocals that he’s made his trademark.
Spin provided an equally positive review, praising Fear Inoculum for “continuing to blur the lines between art, psychedelia, alt-metal, and prog rock with undiminished curiosity and skill” while “remaining defiantly contrary to the auto-tuned, digitally-quantized world in which we now live.” Where is the lie? The project also won a 2019 Grammy Award for “7empest,” which is one of the heaviest tracks on the album.
Tool commemorated their 30th anniversary as a band in 2020, and we don’t think they’ve ever stopped celebrating. The band has toured nonstop over the past three years as they belt out their best hits from the past three decades, like “Sober,” “Forty Six & 2,” “Schism,” and more.
