The Zombies 2023 Tour Announcement – Different Game Tour Schedule
The Zombies are heading your way on the “Different Game Tour!” The British rock group will begin on October 2nd in Seattle, WA, continuing through the 29th in Glenside, PA.
This Zombies tour supports the group’s sixth album, Different Game, which came out this year and marked their first new record in nearly a decade! What have they been up to since 2015’s Still Got That Hunger? Touring in Europe, for one, but also reimagining their sound to create a divine and undeniably distinctive set of new songs. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers have always experimented with elements of pop, R&B, and psychedelia, but their latest album takes the genre-blending even further.
From psychedelic rockers to tender acoustic ballads and baroque pop verses, The Zombies held nothing back on Different Game. The album lives up to its name, showcasing an eclectic new mix of songs that we’ve never seen from them in their six-decade career. Just take a listen to new tunes like “Love You While I Can,” a sophisticated banger, along with “Rediscover,” “Got to Move On,” and “The Sun Will Rise Again” to see and hear exactly what we’re talking about.
Of course, one thing has stayed the same… the raw energy and unimaginable sorcery that happens during The Zombies’ concerts. Colin Blunstone and his bandmates are more than ready to return to the US and plan to put on a surreal performance each night comprised of both new and old essentials. We’re all about Different Game, sure, but we also can’t forget the number-one hits that have helped them sell millions of records and stay at the top of their game.
Some of their greatest songs since The Zombies’ 1961 formation? “She’s Not There,” “Tell Her No,” “This Will Be Our Year,” “Spooky Little Girl,” and more. These helped them gain a reputation as one of the most underrated British rock bands of the era, alongside the likes of The Beatles. However, The Zombies have definitely gotten the credit they deserve in recent years. Their 1968 record, Odessey and Oracle, was named as No. 100 on Rolling Stone’s 2012 list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time.”
Meanwhile, they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019! We expect even more accolades to come rolling in after the Different Game album and tour cycle, and we can’t wait to be a part of it. How about you? Get your The Zombies tickets today!
