The Rose 2025 Tour Announcement – Once Upon a WRLD Tour Schedule
The Rose is taking the globe by storm on the “Once Upon a WRLD tour!” The Korean indie rock band will begin on July 6th in Minneapolis, MN, making 15 stops before finishing up on August 6th in Los Angeles, CA.
Last year was big for The Rose. They made their Coachella debut, toured in support of 2023’s Dual, and grew their global following to remind us that they’re not your average K-pop group. In fact, they’re not K-pop at all! Unlike most of the popular acts coming out of Seoul, The Rose politely declines the pop label in favor of an art, indie, and alt rock fusion entirely their own.
And to say that it’s working out well for them would be an understatement. They’ve had major success with songs like “RED,” “Lifeline,” “You’re Beautiful” and “Sorry.” Now, they’ve just releasing their new EP, WRLD, that goes where the band has never ventured before. Featuring all-English lyrics and a sonic palette that swings from cinematic ballads to shimmering synth-rock….
It’s The Rose’s most international-facing release to date. Lead singles like “Nevermind” and “Slowly” evoke longing and momentum in equal measure — perfect road trip soundtracks that hit even harder live. You haven’t truly lived until you’ve seen lead singer Woosung take the stage with his guitar! Especially once you hear the philosophical way he speaks about this new record.
“WRLD is about humanity,” Woosung told Earmilk. “It reflects everything we’re all experiencing right now—the chaos, the pain, the disconnection. There’s war, pollution, division… and through it all, so many people feel alone. With this album, we wanted to create a space that felt like a break from that. Somewhere to breathe. To dream. To feel again.”
“But it’s also deeply personal,” he continued. “We’ve gone through a lot in the past few years—traveling the world, changing as people, growing as a band. All of that is woven into this record. We didn’t want to filter it. The joy, the uncertainty, the in-between moments—they’re all part of the story. It’s messy sometimes, but so is life.”
You can say that again. Since 2017, The Rose has earned a stunning reputation for being something rare in the Korean music world — a true band, with instruments, voices, and songwriting that speaks to both head and heart. Their live shows are cathartic and connective, often blurring the line between rock concert and group therapy session. From the softness of “She’s in the Rain” to the raw uplift of “RED,” the energy is powerful, not just performative.
Need proof? DUAL hit No. 83 on the Billboard 200, making them one of the few Korean rock acts to break that barrier. They also topped Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart, earned incredible reviews at Lollapalooza and Coachella, and continue to sell out shows worldwide. Simply put? The Rose is a force to be reckoned with in the music world…and you can’t miss your chance to see them live. Get tickets for the Once Upon a WLRD tour now!
