The Psychedelic Furs are continuing their Made of Rain tour through late 2021! You can next see the British punk band on October 19th in Houston, TX, while the trek goes on through November 20th in Albany, NY.
It’s not just the return of live music that The Psychedelic Furs celebrated this year, which marked their first concerts since 2019. It’s also the group’s first album of new material in nearly three decades! Their ninth album, Made of Rain, was released in June 2020, serving as a follow-up to 1991’s World Outside.
Where exactly do The Psychedelic Fur’s brand of post-wave punk and alt-rock fit in 2021? Why release a new record after all this time? Are they still the same punk icons who released the titular song for the 80s classic film Pretty in Pink? All of these questions are answered on Made of Rain, and it’s going to be a sweet and psychedelic ride.
