The Offspring 2023 Tour Announcement – Let The Bad Times Roll Tour Schedule
The Offspring have extended the “Let the Bad Times Roll tour” once again, this time joined by Canadian pop-punk groups Sum 41 and Simple Plan! They’ll visit cities like Tampa, FL, Clarkston, MI, Milwaukee, WI, and more before concluding on September 3rd in Mansfield, MA.
“One of the best things about being on tour is traveling the world playing to great audiences, and it’s even better when you can do it with your friends,” said Dexter Holland of The Offspring. “We had sold out International tours with Simple Plan and Sum 41, and we’re excited that they’ll be joining us this Summer in America. It’s going to be great!” The three groups go way back, and despite the name of the trek…they seem to be letting the good times roll in every way they know how.
In the case of The Offspring, this means epic singalongs, crowd surfers, and so much punk rock realness, we can hardly take it. Unlike their Canadian opening acts, Holland and his bandmates hail from the shores of Orange County, CA. They’ve infused a blend of laid-back beachside vibes, plus viciously catchy melodic hardcore and punk rock, since their formation nearly four decades ago. And if the past couple of years, plus their 40 million albums sold, have taught us anything, it’s that The Offspring have no plans to stop owning the rock scene.
The band continues to support their tenth album, Let the Bad Times Roll, released in April 2021. It was their first record in nearly a decade, since 2012’s Days Go By, and has ushered The Offspring into a new yet familiar era. We’re talking dark, aggressive, empathetic, and ultra-catchy, just like you’re used to! Let the Bad Times Roll has been a long time coming, and The Offspring wasted no time performing new songs “Coming For You” and “This is Not Utopia” all over the world. Spoiler alert: they’re not done quite yet.
“This album is probably the most cathartic thing we’ve done,” says Holland. “The messages might be dark, but at the end what’s left is that communication is important, working through feelings is important and most of all, hope is important.” The Offspring has made punk rock fans feel something a little deeper for decades now, but they took things to the next level with their latest album. These songs will speak to you in a surreal way, especially live! Don’t believe us? Get your tickets now for the following dates.
