The Black Crowes 2022 Tour Announcement – Shake Your Money Maker Tour Schedule
The Black Crowes are back on tour in August 2022. Have you gotten your tickets yet? The rock group will kick off on the 13th in Bonner, MT, and make stops in Boise, ID, Little Rock, AK, Durant, OK, and more before concluding on the 29th in Denver, CO.
This trek is a continuation of last year’s The Black Crowes tour, named “Shake Your Money Maker,” in celebration of the 30th anniversary of their debut album. As of 2022, it’s now been 33 years since Shake Your Money Maker was released, establishing them as one of the best Southern hard rock bands of all time. After selling 30 million albums, performing worldwide, and earning incredible accolades from musical outlets like Rolling Stone and VH1, they’re eternally grateful for the legacy of their debut album. Now, they’re giving it the extended The Black Crowes tour it deserves and playing the record nearly in full each night!
The “Shake Your Money Maker tour” was a grand event for longtime fans of The Black Crowes. It didn’t just mark their return to touring after a global pandemic and several hiatuses but celebrated the record that started it all. The singles off Shake Your Money Maker remain some of their most famous today, including “Hard to Handle,” “She Talks to Angels,” “Jealous Again,” and “Twice as Hard.”
While Black Crowes have not released a new studio album in over ten years, they did come out with a cover EP in April 2022. 1972 contains six covers of hit songs from the year it’s named, including “Papa Was a Rolling Stone” by The Temptations and “The Slider” by T-Rex. Singer Chris Robinson has stated that it’s “good baby steps’ for the band and their creative partnership, while they intend to hit the studio early next year to record some all-new songs. In the meantime, you can enjoy a mix of songs from every decade on the Black Crowes tour in August 2022. Get your tickets today!
