Tesla 2024 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
Tesla is touring in 2024! The glam metal heroes will next play on July 19th in Terra Haute, IN, continuing for several months before wrapping up on November 16th in Durant, OK.
Just last year, Tesla embarked on the “Let’s Get Real! Tour” across the country, which included over a dozen US cities and one mini Las Vegas residency. To say it was a good time was an understatement, and they aren’t even close to finished performing for their biggest fans. Are you ready to “vroom” into a summer and fall of Tesla?
“There’s nothing like the energy of being in the same spontaneous moment with an audience of people,” Tesla guitarist Frank Hannon said in 2023. “Tesla has always taken pride in being a high-energy live band, relying on performances without any backing tracks or pre-recorded help.” That remains more true than ever now, just like it has since the band formed in Sacramento, CA, in 1981.
Of course, just because they don’t need backing tracks doesn’t mean they don’t welcome crowd singalongs! With a setlist comprised of mega-hits like “Love Song,” “Modern Day Cowboy,” and “We Can Work It Out,” the loyalists in the audience will be mouthing every word as they bask in the presence of glam metal gods. Just the way it’s supposed to be at a Tesla concert.
While often compared to the likes of Def Leppard, Poison, Mötley Crüe and Twisted Sister, the truth is that Tesla has a legacy all their own. They’ve released eight fantastic albums that have sold a combined 14 million records, while the band ranked No. 22 on VH1’s list of the “100 Greatest Artists of Hair Metal.” While there’s no telling if Tesla will release a new album anytime soon, they have released new singles like “Time to Rock!” and “Cold Blue Steel” within the last few years.
