Tenacious D 2023 Tour Announcement – Spicy Meatball Tour Schedule

Tenacious D has extended the “Spicy Meatball Tour” into the fall of 2023, taking the comedy rock duo to six new cities! They’ll begin on September 6th in Charlotte, NC, stopping in Franklin, TN, Rogers, AR, Houston, TX, and Grand Prairie, TX, before concluding on the 15th in Del Valle, TX.

To say that Tenacious D are comedy masters would be an understatement. The two funnymen incorporate laughs into everything they do. These include tour announcement posters mimicking Indiana Jones with a giant meatball, plus a signature brand of mock rock that we’ve loved since 1994. The duo, comprised of Hollywood comedian Jack Black and his best friend Kyle Gass, know how to put on a show that’s half rock concert and half standup comedy special. And you simply need to see it.

The group just released their first new music in five years, the single called “Video Games.” As the song title suggests, the music video depicts Black and Gass as animated characters, ironically singing about how they “don’t play video games no more.” It’s a simple but super funny track that’s essentially Tenacious D in a nutshell. And they will bring their cartoon icons to life, with a few hilarious onstage props and onstage surprises in tow, on the Spicy Meatball tour.

Tenacious D has been serving raging laughs and hard-rock verses for over thirty years, and it’s the greatest thing ever.
