Tedeschi Trucks Band 2021 Tour – Fireside Live Tour Schedule

Tedeschi Trucks Band will embark on the Fireside Live tour throughout the remainder of 2021 – and you shouldn’t wait to purchase tickets for this bluesy rock duo! The group will be hosting a one-week residency at New York City’s Beacon Theatre from September 30th through October 9th, followed by a series of headlining shows before they continue with a four-night run at the Orpheum Theatre in Boston, MA on November 30th.

“Can’t wait to see everyone’s faces again, who’s coming? It’s been a while, hope the frets are still in the same place!”, the group wrote on Instagram in June upon announcing Fireside Live tour dates. While the pandemic prevented Tedeschi Trucks Band from playing live in their favorite venues, they still found a way to keep the fans close – by introducing Swamp Family TV!

“Swamp Family” is the name given to the Tedeschi Trucks Band fan club, whose loyalty was rewarded with free weekly concert streams. Each Thursday, the band streamed a full pro-shot concert from the past (similar to Phish), giving fans a taste of live music in a safe and virtual setting. While it was fun to connect with the rest of the Swamp Family over these performances, Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks are thrilled to finally get back on the road!

Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks are a power couple in every sense of the term, as their collaborations go far beyond their marriage. They formed Tedeschi Trucks Band together in 2010, and have since released four studio and three live albums with their blues-rock and Americana hits. 

The latest was 2021’s Layla Revisited (Live at Lockn’) – recorded at the Lockn’ Festival in summer 2019. This set features the couple performing covers from the Derek & the Dominos album, Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs, and contains guest vocals from Trey Anastasio. The group may just play these hits on the Fireside Live tour, along with their own songs like “Anyhow,” “Midnight in Harlem,” “and “Don’t Know What It Means.”
