Tears For Fears 2023 Tour Announcement – The Tipping Point Tour Part II Schedule
Tears for Fears are hitting the road for “The Tipping Point Tour Part II,” joined by Cold War Kids on 22 dates! The British pop-rock band will begin on June 23rd in Atlantic City, NJ, making stops in Montreal, QC, Raleigh, NC, Seattle, WA, and more before concluding on August 2nd in Los Angeles, CA.
“We couldn’t be more excited to start playing concerts again. We’ve missed seeing our friends on the road around the world and the energy of performing live,” Tears for Fears member Curt Smith said last year in a statement. His bandmate Roland Orzabal added, “The Tipping Point has been a long time in the making, and we are looking forward to playing our favorites from the new album as well as our classics from throughout the years.”
The group’s seventh album, The Tipping Point, was released in 2022, nearly two decades after their previous album, 2004’s Everybody Loves A Happy Ending. But new songs like “No Small Thing,” “Break The Man,” “My Demons,” and the titular track were well worth the wait! They pay tribute to the group’s 80s electropop roots while infusing more modern types of dance-worthy beats. And let’s just say that fans couldn’t get enough of them on last year’s full-length Tears For Fears tour.
In addition to new tracks, Smith and Orzabal also played the classics like “Everybody Wants to Rule the World,” “Woman in Chains,” “Break It Down Again,” and “Mad World.” AKA, all the angsty essentials that any teenager in the 80s had on blast in their bedrooms. Spoiler alert: they’re back on the setlist in 2023, and it’s going to be a blast! Tears For Fears pulled off one of the most killer comebacks of 2022, and they’re not ready to say goodbye to their fans just yet.
