Taking Back Sunday are hitting the road in 2026 for a co-headlining East Coast run with Bayside, bringing two Long Island–bred staples of the emo and punk scenes back together. The tour kicks off May 31 in Dewey Beach, DE, with stops in cities including Jacksonville, Columbus, Spartanburg, and more, before wrapping July 21 in Madison, WI.
That’s right…it’s not just your local Emo Nite that Taking Back Sunday will be taking over, but half the country, too. And it’s the sideswept bangs and studded-belt-wearing extravaganza we’ve been waiting for. They’re even bringing their best friends, Bayside! Over the years, they’ve remained close — sharing labels, tours, and milestone celebrations, including Taking Back Sunday’s Tell All Your Friends anniversary run.
This 2026 trek marks their first extended tour together in more than a decade, bringing that early scene chemistry back to bigger stages. And while their respective sounds are unmistakably different, it still makes for a rock mashup that you don’t want to miss. Musically, Taking Back Sunday’s live sets continue to span eras. You’ll hear early 2000s staples like “Cute Without the ‘E,’” “You’re So Last Summer,” and “MakeDamnSure”….
Alongside newer material from their 2023 album 152, which nods to the Long Island roots that built them. While they remain festival favorites at events like When We Were Young, their headlining shows go deeper than nostalgia. As for Bayside? They bring just as much history to the bill. After celebrating the 20th anniversary of their self-titled album and releasing There Are Worse Things Than Being Alive in 2024, the band continues to serve up cathartic hooks and punchy, scream-along moments that fit naturally alongside Taking Back Sunday’s catalog.
