Staind 2022 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
Staind has announced a headlining tour for fall 2022, taking the nu-metal group to 12 cities. They’ll kick off the trek on September 7th in Niagara Falls, NY, and continue through the 24th in Shawnee, OK.
“It’s Been Awhile” since a Staind tour hit the road without complications. Pun intended. They announced their in 2019 reunion after a five-year hiatus, only for the pandemic to hit months later and shatter fans’ hopes of seeing a Staind concert anytime soon. And when they did return to the stage with Korn last summer, a COVID-19 scare stopped a few shows in their tracks. Not an ideal situation. However, they’re now ready for a bump-free headlining Staind tour that welcomes fans old and new. And it’s only going to be the ultimate nu-metal show as they play their greatest hits like “It’s Been Awhile,” “So Far Away,” “For You,” and “Right Here.”

They’ve also hinted at new music, which would be the first Staind record since 2011’s self-titled effort. “I would certainly love to have it recorded and done by the end of this year, released next year,” Staind frontman Aaron Lewis told Metal Injection. “All of our plans that were kind of semi on the books and on the table, everything just had a year taken off of it [due to the pandemic].” While there’s no release date yet, there’s a lot of hope for the first Staind record in over a decade. All we can do is hope that they play some new (or should we say, nu) tracks on this Staind tour!
Lewis used the time during the pandemic to work on his solo songs, releasing his country album, Frayed at Both Ends, earlier this year. He’s also hosting his own Aaron Lewis tour shortly after Staind kicks off! But his heart will always belong to the nu-metal group he’s fronted for nearly three decades, and we can’t wait to see a Staind concert like never before. Get your tickets today!
