Something Corporate 2024 Tour Announcement – Out of Office Tour Schedule
Something Corporate is back! The emo darlings have announced their first trek in 14 years, aptly dubbed the “Out of Office tour.” They’ll begin on June 20th in Brooklyn, NY, continuing through October 12th in San Francisco, CA.
“The band and I couldn’t be more excited for these upcoming dates,” said vocalist and pianist Andrew McMahon. “We’re having more fun together than ever and the generosity of the fans, both online and at last year’s shows, made it impossible not to come back and do a few more. We hope to see you there!” After teasing their reunion at last year’s When We Were Young festival, plus a few other select performances, fans have begged for a full tour. And Something Corporate was happy to oblige.
Not only will this be the first Something Corporate tour since 2010, it also marks the first time all five original members play together in over 20 years! While McMahon has kept busy with his other projects, including Jack’s Mannequin and Andrew McMahon In the Wilderness, this one is very near and dear to his heart. It was his first baby that he started in high school a full quarter-century ago, and helped McMahon reach pop-punk royalty status with more than a few super-catchy singles.
Who can forget “Konstantine,” “I Want to Save You,” “Space” and “I Woke Up In a Car?” All three Something Corporate albums are on the table with their upcoming setlist…especially North, which celebrated its 20th anniversary last year. Sure, it’s been quite a while since they released new music. However, a Something Corporate concert is filled with enough pop-punk charisma and powerful guitar riffs to pick up right where they left off.
