Slipknot 2022 Tour Announcement – Knotfest Roadshow Tour Schedule

Knotfest Roadshow has announced dates for 2022, featuring performances by headliner Slipknot along with special guests In This Moment, Jinger, Cypress Hill, and HO99O9. Catch the iconic metal fest beginning March 16th in Fargo, ND, with 38 stops in total before wrapping up on June 18th in Chula Vista, CA.

You may have heard about the monumental 2021 Slipknot tour, as the metal icons returned to the road with some of the biggest shows of their career. Knotfest Roadshow sold out dozens of theaters during the first post-pandemic Slipknot tour, while Corey Taylor and his bandmates debuted new music for the first time since 2019. If you thought Knotfest Roadshow 2021 was the ultimate party for metalheads, just wait until you see their plans for this year!

Their seventh album, the follow-up to 2019’s We Are Not Your Kind, is expected to release this year, and they’ve already given fans a sneak peek.

“The Chapeltown Rag” is their latest single released late last year, and you can certainly expect to hear it on this Slipknot tour. The track focuses on the perils of internet culture, which we became even more acquainted with during lockdowns.

“It’s a punisher, man. It’s classic Slipknot. And it’s frenetic,” Taylor said in a statement about the song. “But lyrically, it’s coming from a point of talking about the various manipulations that can happen when social media meets media itself. And the different ways that these manipulations can try to pull us in different directions, in the fact that we’re all becoming addicts to it, which is very, very dangerous.”
