Skillet and Theory of a Deadman 2023 Tour Announcement – Rock Ressurection Tour Schedule
Skillet and Theory of a Deadman are touring together for the “Rock Resurrection” of 2023! Catch the two groups beginning February 17th in Gary, IN, with stops in Milwaukee, WI, Boston, MA, Dallas, TX, and more before finishing up on March 26th in Los Angeles, CA.
“We’re super stoked to be touring with our good friends in Skillet and Saint Asonia this winter,” shares Theory of a Deadman singer Tyler Connolly, “We’re also really looking forward to playing new material for our fans!” Skillet frontman John Cooper seconds this statement, providing his own giddy thoughts on the upcoming Rock Ressurection tour. “We are so excited to be touring with our friends from Theory again!” says Skillet’s John Cooper. “It’s been several years since our last tour together. We are looking forward to kicking off 2023 the right way by joining forces for a super-charged rock show! Panheads, get ready!”
Both groups have a lot to celebrate in 2023, starting with all-new songs that many fans will hear for the first time. Skillet released its eleventh record, Dominion, in early 2022, featuring new tracks like “Surviving the Game,” “Refuge,” and “Standing in the Storm.” Do these song titles sound intense? That’s because they are…powered by Skillet’s classic guitar-heavy choruses and gritty vocals, making them one of the best-selling rock bands of the 21st century. Since their music also has spiritual undertones that blur the lines between Christian rock and traditional nu-metal, you know you’ll become one with these powerful hits at the show…whether you’re moshing or just swaying along to the music.
As for Theory of a Deadman? They have a few tricks up their sleeve too! The Canadian band continues to support their seventh and latest release, 2020’s Say Nothing, which incorporates more pop into their previously fully hard rock sound and deals with difficult but critical issues. From domestic violence and racism to failed relationships, they took a significant risk with this album, but it paid off, with their fans feeling more heard than ever. There’s nothing more comforting than the power of music, and they can’t wait to play these relatable tracks for those who need it—joined by their good friends in Skillet, of course. If you’re ready for the ultimate “Rock Resurrection” of 2023, don’t forget your tickets to see Skillet and Theory of a Deadman in your city!
