Sevendust 2024 Tour Announcement – Seasons 21st Anniversary Tour Schedule
Sevendust is celebrating the birthday of one of their most beloved albums! The Atlanta-bred rock band will kick off the “Seasons 21st Anniversary Tour” on September 12th in Ocean City, MD, continuing through October 10th at the Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, CA.
A 21st anniversary tour? We’ll drink to that. Just like everything else that Sevendust does, this trek is a bit unconventional, but guaranteed to be an believable from start to finish. In fact, that’s exactly how they’ll pay tribute to their fourth album. The nu-metal heroes will play Seasons in its entirety, including singles like “Enemy,” “Broken Down,” and “Face to Face.” Not to mention, all the deep cuts that fans have begged to hear live for many years.
While it was their fourth, and not first, record, Seasons was a turning point for Sevendust. They raised eyebrows when they enlisted the help of producer Butch Walker, who had previously worked mostly with pop artists. However, the result was a melodic and undeniably metal masterpiece that helped Sevendust achieve their highest charting single to date. Along with legions of new fans who couldn’t get enough of their soul-nourishing nu-metal.
“It’s really heavy and just tons of melody,” guitarist John Connolly said about Seasons in a 2003 interview. “We’re real big fans of melody and there’s no reason that a heavy band can’t have something to sing over, and we just really pushed it a lot farther than we had a chance to on the last few records.” Who says you can’t have harmony in heavy music?
Sevendust has continued to push the envelope with their other releases over the past two decades, including their fourteenth and latest album 2023’s Truth Killer.
