Scorpions 2022 Tour Announcement – Rock Believer Tour Schedule
Scorpions have announced the Rock Believer tour for late summer 2022, and they’re taking Whitesnake with them! See the two iconic rock bands beginning August 21st in Toronto, ON, continuing through October 21st in Las Vegas, NV.
Fresh off their Sin City Nights residency in Las Vegas, the German metal group isn’t done shredding onstage in front of thousands of people. And since Scorpions is known for being a bit theatrical, they had to announce this co-headlining tour in style. Their YouTube video announcing the trek has received thousands of views, depicting the respective animals in their band names in a deserted desert. “With their powers combined, Scorpion and Whitesnake hit the road,” the video says. “Anyone who crosses their path will be in for one venomous night.
With Whitesnake playing their farewell shows and sharing the stage with Scorpion, emotions will undoubtedly be high on the Rock Believer tour. Expect to laugh, cry, dance, and everything in between, with Scorpion playing half a century’s worth of hits and giving their friends the explosive encore they deserve.
Will Scorpions be retiring anytime soon? Likely not, as the Rock Believer tour is named for their recently-released nineteenth album. It marked their first new album in seven years, with critics praising the German metal band for their nostalgic yet obviously new hits. In their album review, Blabbermouth stated that Scorpions “revisit many of the sounds that fueled their superstardom’s peak.” However, they also clarify that the band isn’t one to repeat riffs. “The level of energy and songcraft present though keep those tracks from feeling tired,” the publication continued, “and perhaps for the first time in several records, there are even a few anthems that hold up next to the classics we’ve been re-purchasing on multiple formats over the decades.”
