Sammy Hagar 2024 Tour Announcement – Best Of All Worlds Tour Schedule
The Red Rocker is back on the road, and he’s bringing friends! Sammy Hagar will kick off the “Best Of All Worlds Tour” in the summer of 2024, beginning on July 13th in West Palm Beach, FL. He’ll continue through August 31st in St. Louis, MO.
“It’s crazy to think that it’ll be 20 years since Mikey and I played these songs with Van Halen on the 04’ Best of Both Worlds Tour,” said Hagar, referring to his longtime bassist, Michael Anthony. “With Joe [Satriani] on board, we can take a deeper dive into those years. We’re going to touch on some hits from my entire career but seeing fans old and new really embrace the new collection set off something in Mikey and I.”
That’s right, one of the world’s most legendary guitarists, Joe Satriani himself, is taking time off from the Satch-Vai tour to join Hagar on the road. Because Sammy Hagar certainly is! The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer recently explained the origins of the Best of All Worlds Tour, and they’re as epic as you’d expect. “We were at my Birthday Bash in Cabo for my 76th and looked at each other and high fived, like ‘let’s do it.’,” he says, referring to his longtime friends and bandmates. “We pulled out a couple of them and it was an instant lovefest with the fans from our first riffs. The music we created is going to outlive us all. They deserve to be heard so it’s time we go out and serve the fans that music, while we still can.”
On that note, the setlist will include all the essentials from Hagar’s five-decade career. From the Van Halen classics like “Runnin’ with the Devil” and “Panama” to the solo smashes like “Mas Tequila” and “Give To Live,” there will be no shortage of heavy metal masterpieces. And with Satriani in the mix, expect some mind-blowing instrumental jams that encompass all that rock and roll is about!
