Sad Summer Festival 2024 Lineup and Ticket Schedule
The sun is out, and the Sad Summer Festival is making its way back to your local parking lot! Beginning on July 11th in Sacramento, CA, the 5th annual pop-punk extravaganza will be headlined by Mayday Parade, The Maine, The Wonder Years, and We The Kings. It will stop in cities like Denver, CO, Chicago, IL, and New York, NY, before concluding on August 9th in Columbia, MD.
Supported by Real Friends, Knuckle Puck, The Summer Set, and more, this musical exhibition represents both nostalgia and never-ending excitement about the future of pop-punk. Yes, the main headliners have been around for nearly two decades, but it makes things even more fun. The Maine will mark the occasion with a 15th anniversary celebration of their second album, Anywhere but Here, plus newer tracks from 2021’s What It Means to Fall Apart.
As for The Maine? They have summer on their minds and upbeat anthems forever in their hearts. John O’Callaghan and Co. embarked on a “Sweet 16” anniversary tour last year, observing their storied careers with the release of their self-titled ninth album. Old and new fans alike came together with new singles like “Blame,” “How to Exit A Room,” and “Thoughts I Have While Lying in Bed.” And there’s way more pop-punk prowess where that came from.
Sad Summer Festival is often described as a mini-Warped tour, paying tribute to the retired festival with all your favorites, and we don’t just mean the bands. From fan meet-and-greets and sponsored attractions to ways to get involved through nonprofits, you’ll never be bored!
