This DJ is coming out to play! RL Grime is all set for the “PLAYLive Tour” across the country, beginning on September 26th in San Diego, CA. He’ll stop in Denver, CO, Chicago, IL, Houston, TX, and more before ending on November 24th in Ontario, CA.
Joined by Jawns and 33 Below, the PLAYLive Tour promises to be an epic night of electronic beats. RL Grime is basically a god of trap and bass, after all, and ready to perform his most popular remixes like “Core,”” Formula,” “Pressure,” and more! And since this trek takes place during spooky season, we’re definitely not ruling out his legendary Halloween mix that’s had us in a chokehold since 2012.
This scary good mix, released every year, is just one of the things that’s made RL Grime one of the best DJs in the business. There’s also his assortment of studio albums and EPs, which have climbed the Billboard charts for over a decade now! His debut record, 2014’s Void, is coming up on its tenth anniversary, while we also can’t forget his role as a founding member of the LA WeDidIt collective alongside Shlohmo and D33J.

RL Grime recently wiped his entire Instagram feed clean, a telltale sign that he’s about to release new music, before coming out with details in a recent interview. According to EDM.com, his third album, PLAY, is set for release on September 15th, and will be in a “revolutionary new format” like you’ve never seen before.
Featuring 21 tracks split into three unique segments: “APEX,” “GRID” and “RUSH,” each of are meant to symbolize DJ Grime’s signature sound in unique ways.
