PVRIS 2024 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
PVRIS is touring the US in the summer of 2024! Joined by Bruses, the pop-rock group will begin on June 1st in Santa Ana, CA. They’ll stop in 26 cities including Portland, OR, New York, NY, and Atlanta, GA, before concluding on July 12th in Los Angeles, CA.
They’re supporting the fourth and newest PVRIS album, 2023’s Evergreen, which showcases perhaps their most authentic, unapologetic, and raw sound yet. Frontwoman Lynn Gunn calls it”a reclamation of control in our post-pandemic culture, posing a complex discussion on fame, technology, spectacle, and female autonomy.” She also states that it’s “not her job to cater to certain trends or people’s nostalgia.”
AKA, she’s going to musically experiment rather than releasing one standard pop-rock record after another. And she’s not the least bit sorry about it. Luckily, this approach has worked out in PVRIS’ favor on Evergreen. Fans and critics fell in love with new singles like “Animal,” “Goddess,” “Good Enemy,” and “Love Is A…,” which expanded greatly on the band’s signature electro-pop.
What did Kerrang! have to say? That Gunn “pushes the idea of what PVRIS can be even more, delving further into her hip-hop and R&B influences.” This “culminates in an eclectic and electrifying collection of songs, and what is PVRIS’ most evolved offering to date.” We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.
