Puscifer 2022 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
The Puscifer tour has extended through fall 2022, and you must see this hard-rock supergroup. You can catch Maynard James Keenan’s side project beginning October 13th in San Francisco, CA, with stops in Paso Robles, CA, Tucson, AZ, Nashville, TN, and more before concluding on November 22nd in Prescott, AZ.
The group embarked on the first Puscifer tour in nearly six years this past spring, and fans liked what they heard. They played the best industrial rock tracks from their four albums, including 2020’s Existential Reckoning. They gave Maynard James Keenan a platform to perform more experimental and electronic sounds than the metal you’re used to. Sure, he still found time to tour with his other band, Tool, but he’s not quite ready to quit the electronic choruses yet. That’s why they’ve extended the Puscifer tour through fall 2022 to give their recent album and longtime fanbase the love they deserve
The Puscifer concerts on the “Existential Recking tour” are theatrical and over-the-top, with fewer mohawks and moshpits (like at a Tool concert) and more extraterrestrial elements. It’s been one of Keenan’s most beloved side projects since the 90s, and after a well-deserved break… they’re taking Puscifer concerts back on the road where they belong. A new addition to the video backdrop on this Puscifer tour, even compared to a few months ago? Stills from their new music video, “Bullet Train to Iowa (Re-Imagined by Billy Howerdel),” which is as psychedelic as it sounds.
This is just one of the new songs off Existential Reckoning, which was loved by fans and critics alike. In their album review, Kerrang! wrote that “songs like opener “Bread And Circus” and “The Underwhelming” are brilliant electro-pop works.” They loved how the latter track “mixes robotic, Human League-ish keys with a seedy, greasy guitar one moment, before switching for a more languid groove, and then back again.” For the record, we agree, and it only gets better with Existential Reckoning and these upcoming Puscifer concerts.
