Postmodern Jukebox 2026 Tour Announcement – The Future is Vintage Tour Schedule
Postmodern Jukebox are taking “The Future Is Vintage” Tour into 2026, bringing their throwback-meets-modern live show to theaters across North America. This includes a one-night-only debut at Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas on November 27 — which is so Postmodern Jukebox, it hurts. They’ll begin on October 6th in Lexington, KY, continuing through December 20th in New Orleans, LA.
“In the midst of the AI hype all around us, some folks have gone so far as to proclaim that in the not-so-distant future, all of the music that we listen to will be AI generated… we’ll gladly take the other side of that wager,” says member Scott Bradlee. “On the 2026 Postmodern Jukebox North American tour, we’re humbly presenting our own unique vision of a spectacular future; one that is built upon the timeless musical genres of the past and the authentically human spirit of creativity that inspired them.”
For the uninitiated, Postmodern Jukebox doesn’t just cover modern hits…they completely redress them. In vintage-style clothing and choruses, that is. A song you’ve heard a thousand times on the radio suddenly shows up as a smoky jazz-club number, a doo-wop throwback, a swing arrangement, or something that sounds like it wandered in from another decade wearing better shoes. It’s familiar enough to sing along to, but different enough that you’ll add it to your throwback and modern hits playlists, respectively.
That’s been Scott Bradlee’s whole magic trick since the project first caught fire online. Postmodern Jukebox became famous for taking songs like Miley Cyrus’ “We Can’t Stop,” Macklemore’s “Thrift Shop,” Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky,” and Kesha’s “Die Young” and flipping them into vintage styles that somehow made perfect sense. Who could forget their cover of Radiohead’s “Creep” with Haley Reinhart, which has since surpassed 136 million views on YouTube?
Now 15 years old, it was just the beginning of Postmodern Jukebox and their fresh take on modern music. “The Future Is Vintage” feels like the kind of theme that sums them up perfectly, and that’s the entire point. Onstage? That means big vocals, old-school glamour, rotating cast members, and the kind of musicianship that makes the whole thing feel more like a variety show. Want to sing along at Encore at Wynn, or other glorious venues?
