Pat Benatar 2022 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo are touring together in 2022, and the husband-wife duo is bringing all the best rock hits. They’ll begin the trek on May 22nd in Pompano Beach, FL, and continue through September 2nd in Rancho Mirage, CA.
Benatar rose to fame as a rock icon in the early 1980s, releasing hits like “Love is a Battlefield,” “Heartbreaker,” and “Hit Me With Your Best Shot.” She’s a feminist hero and full-fledged rock icon in her own right, but her career has never been the same since she married Giraldo in 1982. They’re partners in both music and life, and have toured together over the past four decades… the most recent being in late 2021 in their first post-pandemic trek.
As it turns out, they weren’t quite finished playing to packed crowds. Giraldo has produced most of Benatar’s albums, written big hits like “We Live For Love,” and helped her move away from the hard rock sound into the gentler territory. She has as much energy at 68 years old as she did years ago, especially when singing the lyrics that her husband lovingly wrote for her!
Benatar set out on her 40th Anniversary Tour in 2019, celebrating four decades of her debut album, In the Heat of the Night, and marking her last trek before the pandemic hit. While she hasn’t released a new album since 2003, Benatar has a hefty catalog of rock hits that have made her one of the most recognizable names in music.
