Nothing More 2023 Tour Announcement – Spirits Tour Schedule
Nothing More is making its way around the US in support of their sixth and latest album, Spirits! Joined by Crown the Empire and Thousand Below, the Texas-based rock band will begin on March 31st in Richmond, VA, making 29 stops before concluding on May 28th in Columbus, OH.
“Glad we got to finally tell you all about this upcoming tour! To say we are excited is an understatement,” Nothing More wrote on Instagram, “What songs should we play?” We don’t know about you, but we have more than a few recommendations for the setlist. There are the new singles like “Tired of Winning” and “You Don’t Know What Love Means” that made Spirit, released in October 2022, a mega-hit record for Nothing More, plus older hits from the early 2010s. Remember “Here’s to Heartache,” “If I Were,” and “Jenny?” They’re all on the table for this Nothing More tour, as the Texas rockers are taking things to the next level with Spirit.
It wasn’t easy to follow up their previous two albums, 2014’s self-titled project and 2018’s The Stories We Tell Ourselves, which many believed to be some of the best rock records of the decade. However, it’s clear that Spirit holds its own in the alternative metal and hard rock crowds. It features Nothing More’s trademark heavy riffs and electronic synth elements over lyrics about complex societal issues…and needless to say, there have been plenty over the past several years.
The band wrote these songs as the pandemic surged on and the world fell apart around them, leading to relatable tracks that bring out your rage in the most real way. “Valhalla” is an edge-of-your-seat anthem that details real-life dangerous scenarios that Nothing More has been through, while “Tired of Winning” is about someone never feeling truly satisfied with their life. And then there’s “You Don’t Know What Love Is,” detailing a one-sided romantic love that many people will take to heart. Nothing More is forever dedicated to hard rock verses and heavy subject matter, and you’ll get both on the Spirits album and tour. Get your Nothing More tickets now!
