New Found Glory 2022 Tour Announcement – Sticks and Stones Anniversary Tour Schedule
New Found Glory has announced a summer 2022 tour, celebrating the 20th anniversary of their beloved album Sticks and Stones. The pop-punk stars will kick off on May 26th in Franklin, TN, making stops in Cincinnati, OH, Orlando, FL, Chicago, IL, and more before ending on September 23rd in Birmingham, AL.
Can you believe that it’s been two whole decades since hearing soft rock bangers like “My Friends Over You” and “Head on Collision?” While Sticks and Stones was their third record, it was arguably a starting point to New Found Glory’s mainstream success. They headlined Warped Tour, appeared in American Pie 2, and supported Blink 182 on tour between 2001 and 2002, and served as inspiration for plenty of pop-punkers in the years afterwards.
This includes Four Year Strong and Be Well, both of whom will be joining them on this New Found Glory tour. And then there’s alt-rockers All Time Low, whose band name originated from a lyric in “Head on Collison.” It’s certainly not a bad legacy to leave behind, and the rockers can’t wait to celebrate their 20-year journey plus the exciting things still to come.
They’ve released eleven albums, became a staple on the Warped Tour main stage, and inspired countless pop-punk acts, and New Found Glory will never forget where they came from. They’re celebrating their rock roots with stints on the Emo’s Not Dead Cruise, Furnace Fest, and Breakfast later this year, but are first giving their signature album the anniversary tour it deserves.
