New Edition 2022 Tour Announcement – Culture Tour Schedule
New Edition has announced the Culture tour, beginning February 16th in Columbus, GA, and ending on April 10th in Miami, FL. Will you see the 1980s R&B icons in 2022?
This marks the first New Edition tour in nearly six years, and fans are excited to see Ricky Bell, Bobby Brown, Ralph Tresvant, and the other three members on stage together again. In November, they got a sneak peek at the American Music Awards when the group performed a “Battle of Boston” with fellow 80s icons New Kids on the Block, which was just as nostalgic as it sounds! With both groups soon heading out on their own tours, prepare for a “New” type of concert in 2022.

New Edition has been performing together on and off since forming in 1978. They reached peak mainstream success in the 1980s, with R&B hits like “Candy Girl,” “Mr. Telephone Man,” and “Cool It Now.” Their eight albums have sold over 40 million copies in total, and despite not having released new music since 2004… their catalog of classics will keep the crowd plenty entertained on this New Edition tour.
Of course, it doesn’t hurt that they have some incredible support on the Culture tour. They’ll be joined by Charlie Wilson, also known as Uncle Charlie, the legendary R&B star with an array of No.1 singles and a well-deserved Lifetime Achievement Award from BET. And then there’s Jodeci, the quartet who call themselves the “Bad Boys of R&B.”
This New Edition tour is in partnership with The Black Promoters Collective, a 100% Black-owned business that describes itself as the “world’s leading producer of culturally relevant live entertainment experiences.” The group has helped define the R&B genre and served as inspiration for Black artists over the past four decades, and you don’t want to miss the chance to see them in action.
