NCT Dream 2023 Tour Announcement – The Dream Show 2: In a Dream Tour Schedule
Hey, NCTzens… did you know that NCT Dream was the latest group of K-Pop idols to tour the US? The septet will kick off their “The Dream Show 2: In a Dream tour” on April 5th in Newark, NJ. These shows continue for seven dates through spring 2023, including Atlanta, GA, Houston, TX, and Anaheim, CA, before ending on the 21st in Seattle, WA.
While NCT Dream, the youngest subunit of the larger K-Pop group called NCT, has been around since 2016… this will be their first time performing in US arenas. How excited are you to see their hottest singles like “Candy,” “Hot Sauce,” “BOOM,” and “Glitch Mode” performed onstage for the first time? Trust us; all seven members will sing and dance their way into your hearts by the night’s end. How? Because they’re some of the most mind-blowingly talented K-Pop stars in the game.
NCT Dream members like Mark, Jeno, and Chenle are only between 21-23 years old, but they’ve accomplished more than many artists do in a lifetime. They spent the mid-2010s releasing a series of ultra-catchy singles like “Chewing Gum,” “My First and Last,” and “We Go Up.” However, it wasn’t until 2018 that they reached international success. NCT dream collaborated with their central unit, NCT, that year on the song “Go,” bringing their youthful and bubbly vibes to the mainstream music world and gaining legions of fans.
Just how big of a deal is NCT Dream? First and foremost, you should know that the seven members didn’t initially plan to be in the group this long. You see, NCT (Neo Culture Technology) was formed nearly a decade ago as a rotational unit with a fixed age group for each subunit. NCT 127, NCT Dream, and WayV would all be swapped out for new K-pop idols over time as existing singers aged out. However, the success and growing fanbase of the subunits and individual members convinced their management team that they should all stay put, and the rest is history.
Now the members of NCT Dream are iconic not only as a unit but individually. Each one has their own talents that they’re channeling into the boy band and their solo careers, and we can’t wait to see it onstage. Are you ready to witness the only Asian group to appear three consecutive times (including 2018 and 2019) on Billboard‘s “21 Under 21” list, among other accolades?
