Mumford and Sons 2025 Tour Announcement – Rushmere Tour Schedule
Mumford and Sons are heading on the “Rushmere Tour,” named for their just-released fifth album! The folk rock heroes will begin on June 5th in Bend, OR, stopping in 32 cities before wrapping up on October 26th in Omaha, NE.
Described as “the beginning for Mumford & Sons’ next phase” and leading “back to the magic of where it all started for them in a leafy suburb of London,” Rushmere is a big deal for the band. It marks their first record in nearly seven years, since 2018’s Delta, and pays homage to their roots in a revolutionary way.
Did you know that ‘Rushmere’ is the name of the pub where the three members — Marcus Mumford, Ted Dwane, and Ben Lovett — became friends and eventual collaborators? It was the birth of a beautiful friendship and one of the world’s most prominent folk rock bands, and that’s precisely what they’re celebrating with this tour and album cycle.
Fans of Sigh No More and Babel will rejoice in the sonic textures of Rushmere, which strips away the glossy rock influences of their Wilder Mind era (which celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2025) in favor of warm acoustics, poetic lyrics, and your favorite signature gang vocals. Simply put, all of these things are wrapped up in one cozy-yet-charismatic album that hits you right in the feels…and it’s peak Mumford and Sons.
Sure, it took nearly a decade for them to make a new album, but we think it was more than worth it! Fans and critics love singles like “Malibu,” “Caroline,” and the titular track, which helped Rushmere reach an impressive No. 19 on the Billboard 200 and No. 2 on the Folk Albums chart. Of course, longtime fans know it’s never been about numbers or stats for Mumford and Sons, just solid folk rock that reaches straight into your soul.
And that’s exactly what you’ll get on the Rushmere tour. This trio has been breaking hearts and shattering records since forming in London back in 2007, and this may just be their most exciting chapter yet. Get your Mumford and Sons tickets now!
